Welcome to Landstuhl ES School Year 2026-2027!

Welcome to Landstuhl Elementary School (LES). We are proud to serve PSCD and Prekindergarten (PK) through Grade 5 students in a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. LES serves approximately 400 students, providing a high-quality education to the children of active-duty military members, activated reservists, and civilian personnel who support our nation’s mission overseas.

At Landstuhl Elementary, we are committed to educating, engaging, and empowering each student to succeed. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child while fostering a strong sense of belonging and responsibility.

We value the partnership between students, families, staff, and the community. Our active Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) plays an important role in supporting student learning and school activities throughout the year, helping to strengthen our school community and enhance student experiences.

LES offers a variety of after-school enrichment opportunities, including Robotics, Reading Club, Art Club, Theatre Club (Leading Lions), LEGO Club, and more. These opportunities are designed to support student interests, creativity, collaboration, and leadership.

We are proud of our tradition of excellence. In 2020, Landstuhl Elementary School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, reflecting the strong instructional practices and commitment to student achievement that continue today. As an elementary-only campus, our students transition to the Kaiserslautern Middle School and Kaiserslautern High School, where they continue their educational journey within the Kaiserslautern Community Schools.

Students at LES are encouraged to set high expectations for themselves and to take responsibility for their learning each day. Families are valued partners in this process, and your involvement and communication are always welcome. My door is open, and I encourage you to reach out with questions, feedback, or concerns.
