Principal's Corner

Welcome to Landstuhl ES School Year 2024 - 2025!

We would like to personally welcome you to Landstuhl Elementary School (LES). We are a PSCD and Prekindergarten (PK) through grade 5 elementary school with around 375 kids. We provide education to the dependents of active-duty military, activated reservists and civilians that support our great country’s missions abroad.

LES is a great place to be! We have an excellent Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) that supports kids, teachers, and parents. Throughout the year, the PTSA will sponsor things like movie nights, popcorn Fridays, Family Bingo Nights and Ice Cream Socials! We were lucky to have three teachers in 2024 receive recognition from the European PTSA as a Teacher of the Year!

We offer many after school clubs like Robotics, Reading Club, Art Club, Theatre Club (Leading Lions), Lego Club and Singing (Harmony) Club! We will provide you with club information as it comes out (be looking for that information in the principal’s newsletter).

In 2020, we were awarded a Blue-Ribbon Status for academic excellence. We have teachers that love and take great care of our kids! During school year 2020-2021 we changed from a Elementary/Middle School to only Elementary, with our Middle and High students feeding into the Kaiserslautern district (KMS & KHS).

Kids, you are going to feel at home here and will always be encouraged to do your best every day. We are so excited to get to know you and support you! Parents, you are always welcome here and my door is open to you for comments/concerns.

Drop by and see us anytime!

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month - a time to recognize the importance of communication and to honor the professionals who make it possible for so many students to find their voice. Across the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in supporting student success, regardless of location, language, or need. Though separated by oceans and time zones, DoDEA SLPs have found a powerful way to stay connected and collaborate through a Microsoft TEAMS group that spans the globe.
